Ron and Julia at Welshmans Reef Vineyard generously allowed us to use their Vineyard (venue of StixCampNewstead in March 2009). If you’d like to see how picturesque this was, many of the StixCampNewstead attendees took photographs and kindly shared them on Flickr.

Next_G_LogoThe awesome people at Telstra Country Wide set us up with wireless broadband – which was fantastic! It was quite a site to watch Dave Hall and Ben Balbo up till the wee small hours of the night before StixCamp wiring up the antenna and pointing it at a hill about 5km away. The throughput of this was remakable – getting faster broadband speeds wirelessly than some of us get through our wired connections. Thanks guys!
