Sponsoring BarCampMelbourne2009 is a great way to increase the awareness of your brand among technical-minded folk from a wide variety of discliplines; web development, social media, open source, database and applications design and development. In the past we’ve asked for significant amounts (ie $AU 500) from each sponsor. Times are tough, so this year we’re hoping we can offer something to everyone who might be involved.
NOTE: We’re trying to reduce the amount of waste that BarCamp generates. Therefore we ask that ‘goodies to distribute’ are not pamphlets, paper flyers etc that are likely to be disposed of without serving any real purpose. Stickers, magnets etc are much better choices as they’re not going to be disposed of straight away.
