Call for sponsors
BarCampMelbourne is a not for profit event, which the organisers try to make as affordable as possible for attendees, and if possible, free to attend. Of course, this is only possible with the generous help of our sponsors.
So, we’re putting the call out – do you know a company or organisation who could part with some cube goodies, a little bit of hard earned cash, or books etc to use as prizes? Want to know what we can do in return? Check out our Sponsorship page.
Let them know with an awesome flyer – here’s one we prepared earlier! (PDF, 19mb)

Heya,
Just came across your website from an email to the Python melbourne user group. If you’re looking for sponsorship, this guy I know has setup this website http://simplesponsorship.com, which is aimed at helping people exactly like you (non-profit events) hook up with sponsors. The website only went up recently, and they got some funny comments about it on twitter recently, but don’t let that deceive you.
Anyways, the main guy I know is @ppeach. He’s probably the one you want to talk to.
Cheers,
Mat
